Extendable awnings
These are the classic awnings that can be folded and unfolded from a wall or window. They are also called articulated awnings, due to the mechanism of the structure, which allows them to be extended.

Automatic awnings
The awnings that are retracted and extended using a engine, which can be operated from a control panel or using a remote control.

Box awnings
